Early Years: Years 3 & 4

Year 3
We have six classrooms in Year 3 which are housed in the portables adjacent to the largest oval. They have recently had a refurb to bring their learning environment in line with our new buildings. Classrooms are paired allowing for team-teaching and shared curriculum practice. The entrance way to the Year 3 portables is also the access-way to our FROGS area. Year 4
We have six classrooms in Year 4 which are housed in the portables to the right of the main walkway to the Wilson Buildings. These buildings have shared spaces which allow for collaborative learning / teaching opportunities. |
Slow Food
The program is based on the philosophy of the Slow Food Movement, and involves the Year 3 students in food preparation and appreciation.
The unit of work revolves around preparing, cooking and eating fresh, seasonal and regional produce and links to our FROGS program.
There is an additional cost to participate in this program.
