School Principal - Damian Duncan

Damian Duncan has been a valued member of the Wodonga Primary School leadership team since 2008. Known for his exceptional ability to recall every student by name, Mr. Duncan demonstrates a strong commitment to ensuring every child feels known, supported, and included.
He oversees the smooth operation of the school across all areas, while also providing key support for Year 2 and coordinating the Building Leadership Teams, Specialist Team and School Improvement initiatives. Outside of school, Mr Duncan enjoys spending time on his country property and tending to his garden and much-loved fury and feathered friends. |
Assistant Principal - Christine Forrest

Christine Forrest has been part of the Wodonga Primary School community for over 20 years. Her passion for early years education shines through in her work with Foundation families, where she plays a key role in supporting children and families as they begin their primary school journey.
Mrs. Forrest provides leadership and support across Foundation and Year 1 and is committed to building strong partnerships with families to ensure students feel confident, settled, and ready to learn. She also oversees curriculum planning and assessment processes, including NAPLAN. When Mrs. Forrest escapes her office, she enjoys staying active with friends and family — and can often be found training for, or completing in, the occasional marathon. |
Assistant Principal - Jye Williams

Jye Williams joined the Wodonga Primary School community in 2009. He brings energy, humour, and a strong sense of advocacy to his role, providing key support for Year 3 and 4 students.
As the Wellbeing and Engagement Leader, Mr. Williams guides the Wellbeing, Engagement, and Inclusion Teams and drives the school’s Positive Climate for Learning initiatives. Known for his approachable and fun-loving personality, he’s always willing to go the extra mile — including retrieving balls from rooftops! Outside of school, Jye enjoys hitting the tracks on his mountain bike and spending time in his “man cave” with his collection of rock instruments. |
Assistant Principal - Melisa McInnesMelisa McInnes has been part of the Wodonga Primary School community since 2014 and joined the Principal Team in 2025. She coordinates the school’s Building Practising Excellence initiatives and provides key support for Year 5 and 6 students.
Mrs. McInnes plays a vital role in helping Year 6 students and their families confidently navigate the transition to secondary school while creating lasting memories during their final year of primary education. When she’s not at school keeping up with the latest Year 6 trends, Mrs. McInnes enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing by the pool with a good book, or camping under the stars. |
