LEADING TEACHERS 2026

These teachers support learning and teaching across the school under the direction of the Principal as Leading Teachers in the following categories.


Literacy Leaders 

A Literacy Leader leads whole-school improvement in reading, writing, and oral language by supporting curriculum, teacher development, assessment, and evidence-based practices aligned with the Victorian Curriculum to ensure strong and equitable learning outcomes for all students.

Mrs. Williams & Mrs. Quine are our Literacy Leaders at Wodonga Primary School.

Their roles also oversee the planning of several annual events within the school including the beloved Write Wodonga, Simultaneous Story Time, Indigenous Literacy Week.

Numeracy Leaders

​A Numeracy Leader supports whole-school improvement in mathematics by leading teacher practice, using data to inform teaching, coordinating targeted interventions, and building staff capacity through evidence-based approaches to improve student outcomes.

​Mrs. Gilbert & Mrs. Murray are our Wodonga Primary School Numeracy Leaders.

Their roles also oversee the planning of very popular maths board game competition as well as the magical Mid-Winter Maths Festival!
