  • Practical, unisex options for summer & winter
  • Items available via Wodonga uniform shops + selected items at the office
  • Hats required in Terms 1 & 4 for outdoor play and sport

Reporting to Families

We believe in clear and consistent communication of student progress.
  • Reports issued June & December
  • Reports accessed via Compass (Terms 2 & 4 final week)
  • Student-Led Conferences held in June
  • Additional interviews arranged as required
  • Term 4 report includes following year class placement

Transition Programs

Supporting smooth, confident entry to new learning stages is a priority for our School.
  • Foundation transition program begins in Term 4
  • Activities include library visits, classroom sessions and play experiences
  • Year 6 to Secondary College transition also supported
  • Whole-school transition events occur in Term 4

Voluntary Parent Contributions

At Wodonga Primary School, students receive free instruction and access to the standard Victorian curriculum. Learn more about the 2026 Parent Policy HERE

​All payments are voluntary, and families are not required to contribute. However, parent contributions play an important role in helping us enhance learning programs, maintain resources and provide valuable opportunities beyond the basic curriculum. We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support shown by our families through contributions, fundraising and volunteering.

Staff

We have a large staff consisting over 80 members - teachers, integration aides, canteen, welfare, engagement, administration, library and grounds personnel.

History

Wodonga Primary School is situated in the City of Wodonga alongside the Murray River and at the gateway to the Snowy Mountains and Victorian Alps. The school occupies a 12-acre site close to the centre of the city and boasts extensive grassed ovals and playgrounds.
