SCHOOL INFORMATION:

School Fees:
The school aims to raise approximately $25,000 per year to fund programs. This is done through fundraising and parents paying school levies. The 2009 fee is $174 for students in Prep—Year 2, $264 for Year 3 students (includes Slow Food program levy), $184 for Year 4 students and $199 for Year 5 & 6 students. This levy covers all consumables such as pens, paper, glue, books; swimming program, religious education, cultural performances etc. Other activities such as camps and excursions are an additional cost.

School Uniform:
The wearing of school uniform is compulsory. Attractive, practical, unisex summer and winter uniforms are available through the uniform shops in Wodonga. Other selected uniform items are available from the school office. Uniform wide-brimmed hats are to be worn outside during sport and play, particularly in Terms 1 & 4.

Reporting:
At Wodonga Primary School we believe in clear, honest reporting of students progress. Families are provided with a comprehensive written report in June and December which outlines student growth, achievement and areas for focus. Report Conferences are held to discuss the Mid Year Report with families. Interviews are also held as the need arises throughout the year.

Transition:
Having a positive start to schooling is very important in creating a confident learner. At Wodonga Primary School we provide an extensive transition program in Term 4 to introduce our pre-schoolers to aspects of primary school life and our Year 6s to secondary college. Prep families are encouraged to come along to pre-arranged activities such as library sessions, classroom sessions, play sessions, etc.
